After a brief moment of triumph, a fisherman’s big carp squirted out from his grasp and back into the water.
An enormous fish captured by the Czech guy in the Brno Reservoir, located not far from Brno, Czech Republic, is on display.
He tries to set the fish on the ground so that he may take a better picture and measure it, but the carp has other plans.
The instant the fisherman sets it down, the carp comes to life. He and his friend try to catch it, but the fish is too slippery and powerful, and it immediately swims back into the water. Oops!
The fish took advantage of his opportunity to flee and live another day, therefore one could conclude that it is a wonderful example of Carpe Diem, which means “Seize the day”!
