A puppy in dire need was saved by these brave firemen! A dog owner in Seminole County, Florida, called emergency services to report that their dog was trapped in a sinkhole.
The huge dog was discovered by the SCFD Station 42 firemen half buried with more than 75% of his body covered in soil. When they came, he was extremely sluggish and in anguish after failing to escape the sinkhole.
They seized shovels and other items to aid in his release and informed the dog’s owner of their plan of action. And after considerable work, they managed to extract him!
After they managed to release him, they gave him oxygen and brought him back to their fire vehicle on a gurney so they could take him to the closest zoo.
Crews from Station 42 went above and above by helping to bring the dog into the veterinary clinic and meeting the owner there.
