Flooding forces a man to re.scue his dog by carrying the animal on his back.

The altruistic act that was carried out by Theerachot Homjom, who is from Thailand, has prompted a broad variety of positive comments from people all around the world.

Following the severe flooding that tropical storm Sinlaku brought, he came to the conclusion that the best way to protect his pet dog was to carry him on his back.

The rains caused the Kuang River to overrun its banks, which resulted in the man’s home in Chiang Rai province becoming completely submerged in water.

The people were cornered and had no choice but to flee to higher ground. Some people were making an effort to save their belongings, but Theerachot’s little puppy was a million times more important.

The man is a soldier who, over the course of the previous two weeks, has been providing assistance to flood victims in 44 regions of Thailand, and as a result, he has become quite the hero.

Floods could destroy my house, but they couldn’t take away my beautiful puppy.

The dog was really worried about what was going on, but his adoptive father did everything he could to reassure him that he was in a secure environment. Theerachot showed her four-legged child the type of respect that he deserves but that not many people do, which is one of the reasons why so many animals end up being abandoned when their conditions become challenging.
