Conditions below freezing might be hazardous for animals that are kept outdoors. The dog got into difficulty in Vladivostok, Russia, when he licked a manhole cover and got his tongue stuck to the ice that was coating the metal. This caused the dog’s tongue to freeze.
On that particular day, the temperature in the city was said to have been somewhere about 4 or 5 degrees Celsius.
The unfortunate animal was fighting to free itself when it was found, which led to its discovery. The quick thinking guy took action right away by placing a bottle of water on top of the frozen area. Thankfully, the guy was able to rescue him, and reports indicate that the dog was able to get away despite being fairly terrified and without any extra problems.
We are thankful to this person for helping out when he saw an animal that was in trouble and needed aid. It is not known whether the dog ever had a permanent residence.
When the temperature lowers, the effects of the weather are felt by animals, and in certain cases, the animals may even die from freezing to death.
