The week-old kittens needed to be constantly warmed and fed without a mother.

Patricia took care of the newborns when they were brought to her by the rescue organization because they believed, based on her experience and education, that she could give the children a chance at living.

After a few days, the mother noticed that her newborn babies were having trouble opening their eyes, so she brought them to the veterinarian to get them checked out.
