To put it mildly, if you ask Noodles’ family to describe him, they would say that he is quite energetic.
Noodles’ mother, Francesca Iovane, told The Dodo that her son is always running around the house, jumping in the strangest places, and being quite disruptive. You believe you have protected everything from his reach, yet he somehow manages to locate something. He just consumed a portion of my boyfriend’s luggage, and I’m still unsure of how to inform him.
Noodles is very food-obsessed, and is constantly trying to find ways to steal extra treats. He’s succeeded quite a few times, no matter how hard his family tries to stop him.
Iovane’s dad was watching Noodles one day when she heard a noise in the other room. When she went to investigate, she found that Noodles had managed to become stuck inside the pellets container.
Iovane recalled, “I glanced at the jar, then at my dad, and we were simply there unable to comprehend what had just occurred.” Then we simply began to panic, crying, laughing, and screaming all at once. While we were at a loss for what to do, Noodles was the happiest he had ever been and was simply eating as much as he could.
At first, they recorded a quick clip of Noodles in the jar so that they could send it to people to see if they had any ideas. Iovane quickly decided they couldn’t wait, though, as she was worried about Noodles being stuck in there for too long. She ran to her room to get a shoebox, hoping she could somehow dump Noodles and all of the pellets safely into it without hurting him.
“I took the first shoebox I could get, threw the shoes on the ground,” Iovane said. “My mom saw me doing it and she didn’t know what happened in the other room, so she just watched me really confused. I screamed, ‘NO TIME TO EXPLAIN’ and run again to my dad who still had a jarred bunny in his hands.”
As his family panicked around him, Noodles continued to eat. To him, it was his greatest stunt yet. He had absolutely no desire to leave the jar anytime soon. There were still too many pellets left to enjoy.
Noodles “DIDN’T WANT TO COME OUT,” Iovane recalled. “I took the jar and carefully tilted it, trying not to damage my little one.” He attempted to climb as hard as he could, but you can’t climb on glass, so he just fell in the box full of pellets in order to keep eating.
Noodles was immediately scooped up by Iovane so that he could check on him. He was perfectly OK; he was just quite upset at being taken away from his delectable food.
Iovane added, “I pulled him up and I held him because I was so relieved that he was out and okay, but he hates embraces so he leapt off, on the ground, and he was still seeking for pellets because he could [smell them].” He kept spinning in circles without understanding that the source of the fragrance was him.
To Noodles’ dismay, Iovane stopped storing the pellets in a jar soon after the occurrence in order to prevent it from happening again. He’s obviously keen to keep discovering new methods to steal treats, even if it means giving his family a few nice frights.
