It is not necessarily the case that a person’s heart has a lesser amount of love just because of their outward appearance.
After enduring major surgery in which a section of her skull was removed, Holly, a devoted cat, is currently looking for a new place to call home after recovering from the ordeal. Holly was discovered by a concerned member of the public with matted fur, an ear infection, and scabs all over her face. This individual took her to the Llys Nini Animal Centre in England and brought her there.
According to Gary Weeks, manager of the Llys Nini Animal Centre, who spoke with The Dodo about Holly’s history at the institution, “Holly, who is considered to be roughly 11 years old, was initially taken to the shelter as a stray.”
An examination revealed that Holly had a huge mass on one of her ears, which later turned out to be a malignant growth after further investigation.
Holly’s appearance was considerably altered after the removal of the tumor, but she is now cancer-free. The procedure took over a month. The senior cat has just one requirement left, and that is a permanent place to call home.
Holly would do best if she were the only pet in her potential family, but other than love, she doesn’t have any other specific requirements.
A member of the staff at the Llys Nini Animal Centre shared with The Dodo that they have “happy endings” as their specialty and are thus “optimistic” that the right person with the perfect home will come forward.
